I'm Alan Shen and this is my portfolio

I'm interested in how the context surrounding a photograph (for example surrounding colours, or words) can influence the meaning and feeling of an image. This website is a personal project, and my attempt at exploring that process. It's an ongoing experiment, an exercise in creativity, poetry, and storytelling, as well as an excuse to build up some kind of photography portfolio.
